Joys of Caravanning

Spent most of my working career in the IT world and took early retirement to build our dream house in Ile de Re and to work on various charitable causes. After a frustrating time helping the CAB I got volunteered to help design and build various Regimental Gurkha websites. Not knowing much about web design taught myself and have been supporting them for the last 5-6 years. (should have been a 3 month project only but got sucked in)

Used to sail a lot but sold our yacht a few years back and keep a RIB for the odd day trips to other islands etc and in my other voluntary role as Local Representative (read help) for the Cruising Association for La Rochelle and surrounding Islands.

Took up golf with my wife 2.5 years ago and both enjoying it but finding getting a handicap harder than I thought possible despite being pretty sporty.
